Transatlantic and Mediterranean Cruise
April 13 - May 3, 2008

Our cruise vacation photos are assembled into the following 10 "chapters." Each chapter has many more pictures, so please click through.

We spent a day in Fort Lauderdale before starting our 16 day cruise. The voyage began with 6 relaxing days at sea. Unfortunately most days were only 23 hours long due to time zone changes. Then we cruised to the city of Funchal on Madeira Island (Portugal), to Cadiz, Spain, through the Straits of Gibraltar to the city of Gibraltar, to the city of Cagliari on Sardinia Island (Italy), to the port city Civitavecchia near Rome, to Livorno for Florence and Pisa, to Marseille, France for the Provence region, including Aix and Luberon. Our cruise ended in Barcelona, Spain where we spent three more days before flying home via Geneva, Switzerland, with just enough time to buy a cup of Swiss coffee before flying over the Alps.
